instead of posting my application, I figured I'd give my best attempt at providing you all with the information you'd wanna know in my own words.
first and foremost, I'm committed to doing my best 100% of the time. I embrace challenges as they come, and don't shy away from things I've never done, or otherwise don't have much experience with. if someone has a question, I'll always go to whatever lengths I need to, in order to provide them with the information they're seeking, in turn, doing my best to ensure their needs are met (to the extent that I'm able). I don't let friendships or negative opinions of people get in the way of my getting the job done efficiently, and right by the community. I believe empathy goes a long way, and can assure you all that I'd listen to your concerns with an open mind, and be honest in everything I do. these are just a few things I feel set me apart from others, and that hugely qualify me for the CL position. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

That's good. You are one of the people I hope to see get the position. Good luck to ya.

I agree. I hope you get chosen as one of the CL's. For the rest of you, don't forget to vote.

since it has privately been asked of me whether I can tone my bluntness down, I wanted to answer here. I'm sure someone is wondering. the answer is yes. there's a time and place for everything, and I fully understand and accept that. I have no problem toning things down, as situations occur often in my offline life that require me to. doing so is also part of true maturity, and I feel that's an area in which I've majorly grown in these last few years. I can't help how I'm perceived, but I hope at least some of you will think about the fact there's more to a person than one visible trait.

I really hope you get this Chelse. You are one of the people I hope gets this position because I know you will give 100 percent of yourself to it and I feel like you deserve this.

I sincerely hope you get the position Chelsea, you are one of the few runners I'm crossing my fingers to win.

Sometimes, being blunt is not a bad thing. Just don't sell yourself short on that quality. More people need it.

oh, I won't, Scott; no worries about that. in fact, it's the quality I'd say I enjoy most about myself. some say I'd need to tone it down if I were a CL, though, which is what inspired me to make my last reply.
